G503 WWII 1944 Willys Jeep Radio Terminal Filter Box
This article shows the Radio Terminal Box on the later model WWII jeeps

1. The Radio Terminal Box showed up on jeeps around March of 1943, on MB's around serial # 217543 according to Nabholtz, but didn't show up on GPW's until around Sept 1943 |

2. This Radio terminal box was placed under the passenger seat and was attached by 4 round head standard screws through the side panel and into the box as shown. |

3. The Radio terminal box has a large capacitor that connects to a long cable that eventually reaches the floor starter switch on the tub. In addition, there is a bond strap that should be connected to the bottom of the box |

4. The cable is connected to the box, but is protected by conduit. This cable will be lead down to the bottom of the floor tub. the conduit will be held firmly to the bottom of the tub with its connecting nuts to the conduit elbow. |

5. The complete radio terminal box will have a cover applied to the box as shown here. |

6. The final step is to see that the cable is run to the floor starter switch under the tub. |
